Government Department [Office refurbishments, £3m]  – we were appointed to manage from inception through to completion, a series of more than fifty projects to refurbish various offices located around the UK.   

MidKent College [Campus-wide refurbishment, £20m] – working alongside a design team, we have been appointed to project manage a major refurbishment of this distinguished FE/HE college through to Completion at the end of 2013. The key challenge has been delivering this multi-million pound scheme in phases, whilst the College is in full occupation.

Battersea Arts Centre [Arts & Culture Refurbishment, £750k] – in 2013, we were appointed as Project Manager on a small first phase of work to oversee a general refurbishment, creating a new look and feel to the front section of this Grade II* Listed old Victorian Town Hall.  Battersea Arts Centre is keen to explore and develop collaboration within all their aspects of their brand and Merrilop was delighted to assist them on this particular construction project.

125 Mare Street [Office Refurbishment £500k] – Merrilop has recently acted as Project Manager and Contract Administrator on the implementation of a 20,000 sq ft office fitout.  The space will provide an innnovative co-working environment for SMEs and business start-ups, specifically for the fashion industry.  The project is a collaboration activity between the London College of Fashion, Hackney Community College, The Trampery and HRH The Duke of York, KG.  HRH Patron, The Trampery attended the Royal Opening on 10th July 2013 and was treated to a fashion show from some of the new tenants.  Design Studio was LynAtelier.  Amongst others, an article has been featured in Vogue http://www.vogue.co.uk/news/2013/07/10/the-trampery-hackney-fashion-hub-opens.

MidKent College [Phase II Campus Refurbishment £22m] – Working alongside the professional team, Merrilop has been engaged since the start of 2013 to implement the 2nd stage of MKC’s redevelopment in Maidstone.  We are particularly pleased that MKC acknowledged our previous contribution with this further appointment.  The project was complete in early 2016.

MidKent College [Science Laboratory Suite £500k] – Merrilop project managed the introduction of a science lab suite to the college, delivered in time for the start of the new academic year, within budget and to an exceptional level of quality. 

Challenge House, Bletchley [Office Refurbishment] – We have been recently approached to oversee the design, procurement and build of this 20,000 sq ft office refurbishment next to Bletchley Park. Key challenges include meeting prospective tenant design needs and a demanding delivery timescale, prior to tenants moving in.

Activate Learning, Oxford – Activate Learning is the Oxfordshire management organisation which brings together secondary, further and higher education, along with workforce training, management consultancy and social enterprise.  Merrilop has been engaged to provide project management roles on five of their current construction projects. We are especially pleased to have recently completed the £8m new build and refurbishment of their Blackbird Leys campus.

Corporate Bank, City of London – Merrilop has been recently engaged to provide oversight management and monitoring of the migration of the bank’s 7000 staff from their legacy campus buildings into their new flagship UK headquarters near Liverpool Street. Complex dependencies between the various delivery teams have been carefully managed, to successfully complete the migration over a 4-month period.
